Painted Halloween Pumpkins

Have you seen Painted Halloween Pumpkins making the rounds on the internets lately!? I think Pumpkin Painting is such a cute alternative to traditional pumpkin carving, which is typically messy.

I invited a few friends over on Tuesday for a Pumpkin Carving Party and we had so much fun! We drank wine, ordered pizza, watched seriously cheesy 80's horror movies and painted pumpkins all evening. Here are some pics from our fun evening. Enjoy!

{fun at the pumpkin patch}

{getting a little messy}

{tip: acrylic paint works best}

{add glitter to create fun depth}

{perfect for centerpieces}

P.S. I just found out that Kate Spade is having their "Friends & Family" Sale. Use Promo Code F12FFUS at checkout for an extra 30% off now through Sunday, October 21st! Woo Hoo!

  7. Holly this is a great idea! Love the black and glitter one, so chic. I tried to carve one last year and it was a terrible mess, not to mention the fact it didn't even look like a pumpkin at the end of it! Whoops.
    Have a fab weekend hun :-)
