I am unsure of a lot of things. My sense of fashion is all over the place. My taste in interior design is ever changing. But one thing is for sure: I have a certain taste in art that I just love and that is watercolors. The dreamy colors, easy lines and un-harshness of it gets me every time.
I've told you about Leigh Viner but I wanted to introduce some other favorites and finds from the watercolor world.

Leigh Viner is literally my favorite! I have two of her prints in my apartment and LOVE them. Also totally agree on your fashion and interior design comment, but hey isn't that how it's supposed to be??

ReplyDeleteThanks so much for bringing watercolour to the fore! I recognised Leigh Viner's work immediately as I bought one of her pieces "Cricket" 2 years ago. She is a real star.I appreciate you featuring my watercolour fox. He is my most popular fox of all time (according to my Etsy stats for the last 2.5 years!) - Alison

I love the hair of the girl wearing the red dress. This image reminds me of the cover of the copy of the novel Fight Club I own. Also, I love everything about the next sketch of the girl in black and white. It looks to my eyes as if it was originally a photograph that someone took the time to draw on top of. Cool stuff!
ReplyDeleteI love the flamingo one. Watercolors are soothing and so soft looking. I love!
ReplyDeleteI am truly in love with anything & everything watercolor! (which is why it was infused throughout my wedding!) This art pieces are so great!! XO Brynn

ReplyDeleteI love the art by Natalia Turea, Alison Fennell, Barbara Szepesi.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you on water colours; they are an incredibly beautiful medium. My brother told me that they're one of the hardest mediums to use because unlike oils or acrylics you can't really correct any mistakes.
these are so beyond fabulous.
ReplyDeletei'm also a huge fan! love your picks xox
