I'm kicking off today with a new series that I will be calling "Art I Love." I love all mediums of art and the feeling it can evoke in you. When we were growing up, my parents would take my sister and I to museums all the time. I didn't appreciate it as much when I was young, but now that I am older {and a wee bit wiser}, I am forever grateful that they opened my eyes up to such beauty at a young age. Now, one of my favorite things to do is visit museums, where I tend to favor modern art. The weirder it is, the more I tend to like it. And who doesn't love a good museum gift shop.
I could spend days in the Guggenheim and MoMA in NYC and the San Francisco and LA MoMA's are equally fabulous. I cannot wait until I travel to Paris to go to the Louvre.

ReplyDeleteI couldn't agree more about art! I love almost everything, but am a huge abstract fan (possibly biased because that's what I paint). It's a great release whether you're actually painting/creating or gazing into the beauty others have made :) I think I'm gonna love this new series!
