White always has a calming effect on me. White evokes feelings of feeling clean, crisp, organized and simple. Going through my Pinterest images, I can't help but notice that I favor rooms that have a simple white base with clean lines stark decor. The interiors below are perfect examples of this decorating style.

All of these are nice. I enjoy a white room, lots of folks think white is too sterile but I think with the right art, accessories and textured furniture it can be just as warm.
