Ok, I have a few things that I just HAVE to tell you! There has been SO much going on lately in my professional, blog, and personal life and I'm over the moon about all of it! I feel like I'm running on empty, but the fun kind of empty! So here are my latest happenings!
Excitement # 1 || GlamourMash Jewelry Line Picked up by Fab.com
When I first started my jewelry line on Etsy, I reached out to a few large retailers on a whim, thinking that maybe there would be the tiniest chance that they might get back to me. Well, Fab.com got back to me and I was totally blown away, flattered and SO excited! Fab.com is one of my fave quirky online retailers with a circulation of over 12 million subscribers. Yes, I said 12 MILLION! So needless to say, I have been painting and stringing necklaces like a mad woman. I'm making over 400 necklaces in just over a month's time. The sale happens on May 5th so please keep an eye out for it! The most rewarding part is seeing people wear my pieces. I get a little flutter in my heart every time I see someone wear one of my pieces!
Excitement # 2 || I was Asked to be a Part of the Marie Claire June Beauty Roadshow
I was contacted by Marie Claire to be a part of the June Beauty Roadshow last week! What an amazing offer and I jumped at the chance! The morning of the shoot, I still had no idea what I was wearing so it was a fly by the seat of my pants kind of day! I really don;t think I have a keen eye for fashion so I was shopping and senidng potential pics to my stylist friend ALL morning before the shoot. Ok, this picture is too funny, I just had to share. I was in a rush, so taking off my pants was out of the question! haha! I also had the pleasure of meeting the sweetest of the sweet, Keeks Francisco from KeeksFashionInc blog, who worked as the Production Assistant at the shoot. Check her out. She has some fab content.
Excitement # 3 || Clint and I Put an Offer in on a Home in Ocean Beach
We put an offer in and all the negotiations are supposed to go down today. Can you say "freaked out much!" Clint and I have been looking for a home to buy for over a year, put offers in on several homes and had our heart broken several times over. But this home is looking really promising! It is in Ocean Beach, has 2 bedrooms, 3 baths, an attached garage and all new upgrades. I've started imagining our life there, which everyone says is a no-no before you officially sign the papers, but I just can't help myself. It's perfect. Fingers crossed!
Excitement # 4 || GlamourMash Jewelry Line Picked up by Bourbon and Boots
Another one of my favorite online retailers picked up my necklace line! Whaaaaaat! It's all happening so fast! The sale date is TBD, but I will let you know when this happens too! I can barely contain myself I'm so pleased! The people there are so fun to work with so I am excited for future sales as well!
