Etsy Shop I L-O-V-E // Tiny Sparkle Studio

I am so in love with my recent Etsy purchase that I just have to share it with you. I had been on the lookout for a really thin gold ring for awhile but couldn't seem to find one that was thin enough.

I was cruising Instagram like the creep that I am when I saw it: The perfect thin gold ring! The always fashionable Jessica from Bed knobs and Baubles posted a photo of herself wearing these perfectly dainty rings and linked to Etsy retailer, Tiny Sparkle Studio.

I bought one of these handcrafted puppies immediately and liked it so much that I ordered two more... because one can never have enough gold jewelry! So, if you are in the market for the perfect thing gold ring, be sure to check out Tiny Sparkle Studio!

Did I mention I leave for my annual Texas trip today for the rest of the week! Hooray for long days in the sun with friends and even longer nights of fun!

Side by Side // Baubles

Images: 1 | 2 | 3

Monday, Monday... you have come so quickly... I barely had time to sit down and relax. I had friends in town on Saturday and the rest of the weekend I was prepping for a Bachelorette Party I am throwing for my best friend this weekend. We're all headed up to Santa Barbara for wine tasting and some R&R. I am SO looking forward to spending some QT with my girls!

I love creating side-by-side inspiration boards... taking an inspiring image and then comparing it to fashion, art, design, etc. Been seeing a lot of inspiring images lately so I hope to send some more side-by-sides your way all this week!

Sweet & Spark

I am so excited to introduce you to Sweet & Spark! Sweet & Spark is an I-N-S-A-N-E-L-Y gorgeous vintage jewelry collection founded and created by Jillian Bremer.

The core of the Sweet & Spark brand is timeless vintage pieces - gold chains, bangles, pearls, statement earrings and pendant necklaces. Sweet & Spark makes current trends relevant again by giving a second life to vintage pieces.

If you see a piece you love, best to purchase it immediately because it is a one of a kind piece! That is part of the charm of Jillian's line: each piece is uniquely your own.

Jillian's story is just as interesting as her vintage jewelry picks. After working as a buyer for Bloomingdales in New York and Gap in San Francisco as well as helping to launch a brand for American Eagle Outfitters, Jillian decided to start her own vintage jewelry company, Sweet & Spark. She combined her love of hunting for vintage jewels along with her entrepreneurial spirit and Sweet & Spark was born. You can read her in-depth interview on Coming Unstitched.

Jillian was a doll and sent me her classic 80's ball necklace... which is such a classic piece, perfect for layering or letting it make a statement all by itself!

Designer Spotlight // Leeza Meksin of DeezDoggBling

Please allow me to introduce you to the seriously talented artist and designer, Leeza Meksin. Leeza has a unique take on the art world, using stretch fabrics in creating paintings and large scale art installations like the one below.

Leeza started making clothing and jewelry as a way to recycle the materials used in her work and to raise money for other art works. Enter her Etsy Store, DeezDoggBling

Leeza has a seriously cool take on jewelry, incorporating fun materials from her large scale art installations like bungee and recycled rope into her pieces. Leeza also makes eccentric totes, leggings and headpieces. All of her pieces are loud and fabulous and truly wearable pieces of art. I highly encourage you to check out her Etsy Store, DeezDoggBling, and website, Meksin.

Leeza was sweet enough to send me her Tribal Collar with Neon Red Bungee Cord with Black and Silver Tortoise Shell U-Plate and Neon Yellow Stripes. Is there a cooler necklace on the face of the planet? I think not!

Check out the detailing on this beauty!

Her bracelets are gorgeous too!

Thanks again, Leeza!

Artist Spotlights // Erin Case & Exclusive Trunk Show Invite

Isn't this image striking!?

The artist is the oh-so talented Erin Case, an award-winning visual artist based in Midland, Michigan, with a focus on collage.

You can buy Erin's prints at a very reasonable price from emerging artist website, Society 6. I am most def going to buy the print above!

Also, I wanted to share an exclusive trunk sale
brought to you from my lovely partner, Bevel Guild

About Bevel Guild
As veterans of the fashion industry, we know there’s a lot that never makes it to market. New designers face a tough challenge going up against established designers that populate everyday storefronts. Bevel provides these designers with a chance to showcase and sell their designs directly to you through an online trunk show. It’s a concept that has existed offline, locally, since commerce first began. We decided to bring it online, and, in doing so, provide you with first access to new collections by independent designers.

Independent Designers
We work with independent designer from gifted artisans who’ve honed their craft at major labels, to brilliant, undiscovered designers who’ve partnered with us to premiere their first collections.

Exclusive Designs
Our designers haven’t shown their work widely outside of their own circles. The designs they put on Bevel will always be online exclusives, so you’re viewing products that just can’t be found other places.

One Trunk Show
Each trunk show has a limited number of designs (and pieces per design) available for a limited time. Designers for tomorrow's trunk sale include Peppercotton, Dorus Mhor, Sabi Collection and Nettie Kent.

So, Here's Your Personal Invite. Show starts at 12pm EST and 9am PST. Happy Shopping!
