Designer Spotlight // Arnhem Clothing

I am in the mood to reinvent myself. I get this urge every few months where I want to do something dramatic like cut bangs, dye my hair myself or buy an outrageous fur coat a'la Panny Lane in Almost Famous.

I had this feeling back in my early 20's where I did exactly that: I cut bangs, dyed my hair black and bought a fur coat. I really did. 

Well, this time around, I'm thinking of transforming my wardrobe. I think of myself as a free spirit and I would love if my wardrobe reflected that more. Arnhem Clothing just might be my ticket to ride. Created by self-professed hippie, Arnhem Bickley, this Australian clothing line is characterized by distinctive prints of vintage floral, tribal and earthy designs.

Designer Spotlight // Christine Dovey of Bijou and Boheme

Tiffany Leigh of Tiffany Leigh Interior Design recently introduced me to the fabulous home of Christine Dovey of Bijou and Boheme. Christine's home was featured in Style and Home, and let me tell you, it is perfection in every sense of the word. 

Her home is feminine and flirty, with gold, pink, white and grey accents throughout. My girl, Leigh Viner, is featured in several rooms in the house. I have several of her pieces in my home and office and I can't emphasize enough how fantastic her art is. Her art is being featured on One King's Lane today so if you've been considering buying a piece, now is the time to do it!

Designer Spotlight // Leeza Meksin of DeezDoggBling

Please allow me to introduce you to the seriously talented artist and designer, Leeza Meksin. Leeza has a unique take on the art world, using stretch fabrics in creating paintings and large scale art installations like the one below.

Leeza started making clothing and jewelry as a way to recycle the materials used in her work and to raise money for other art works. Enter her Etsy Store, DeezDoggBling. 

Leeza has a seriously cool take on jewelry, incorporating fun materials from her large scale art installations like bungee and recycled rope into her pieces. Leeza also makes eccentric totes, leggings and headpieces. All of her pieces are loud and fabulous and truly wearable pieces of art. Designer Spotlight: Emily Mughannam of EM Design

I was recently introduced to the work of Emily Mughannam of EM Design via MadebyGirl and I am offically in Lurrrve. Her style is fun, fresh and eclectic! Her mixes of neon and pastel hues are divine, especially in the "Teen Only Hang Out Room." I am especially loving the neon shelving, luminescent lighting, shag white carpet and bar cart.

I don't know about you, but I would hang out here whether or not I was a teen! But hey, age ain't nothing but a number... right High Hefner?
